What do Women Want… No, What do I Want?

August 4th, 2010 § 2

Recently, I’ve been asked what I believe women want or need. And I thought… oh silly rabbit. You’re looking for answers in all the wrong places.

Firstly, it’s a sad assumption that all of our gender is looking for one thing. I dare not impede upon another woman’s wants because I know hers are most likely different than my own. And I wouldn’t want a man who think he has a clue; it only means he assumed way too much and deserves a right proper kick to the balls and/or shin  (if you want to be nice about it).

Here I’ll explain my own wants, which change as most things tend to do over time.

June 8th, 2010 § 0

Yes, I explored my childlike side, one whose loins always stirred at the sight of a horned stallion. And I finally get my wish… sort of.

There are no words. Only movies and pictures… okay, there are plenty of words too. And to see of this in kinky action, sign up as a member to kisforkink.com so you can watch trailers and participate in the forums. Why not go the extra mile and pay for the subscription? Rock Star Women and their Powerful Vaginas

May 14th, 2010 § 0

A La Huffington Post, Courtney Love boasts her sexual talents and the reasons why she doesn’t fuck like the average bear:

‘”I’m better because I was never pretty,” she told Toure on Fuse’s ‘On the Record.’ “Pretty girls just lie there. Us girls who grew up a little more homely have to try a lot harder. That’s why pretty girls never threaten me, it’s like, yeah, you want to take me on? Take me on. Go for it.’”

The rest of the article goes on to talk about her spat with Fred Durst and her general hatred for baseball caps turned backwards. It was filler for what I thought should have dominated the article: What does looks have to do with it?

When I was in seventh grade, I listened to Hole nonstop. Bus rides on the way to school and back home were poignant because of Pretty on the Inside, Live through This, and Celebrity Skin. By then, I had learned how to make a mix CD and was able to procure multiple songs from each of the band’s albums. When I was in Junior High, Celebrity Skin was recently released. And that was a commercial album, more so than the previous two. Courtney Love had gone through the Hollywood transformation and was no longer the ragdolled ugly duckling, her trademark look in the early 90s. Since then, she had gone through various cosmetic surgeries to become the pretty person that she slammed in her comment above.

For many women and men of distinction, plastic surgery is necessary in order to maintain the ideal physique, appearance and lifestyle. While the rest of us will age as naturally as we can, there are others who will have no wrinkles, plump lips like deliciously linked sausages, and cheekbones that can slice through paper. Injections, minor facial treatments and full-on surgery can provide these culturally acceptable enhancements, but let’s not forget the ugliness that lingers. I don’t mean ugly with a negative connotation. Courtney doesn’t. It’s just a matter of what arouses/attracts us and what repels/frightens us. But, when scars heal or botched operations are repaired (sometimes), a new attraction rises from the pack. It makes post-opts look like lions, as their perfections are sometimes exaggerated. They look fake. It’s akin to uncanny valley; only these strange humans are the product of silicone and the repackaging of flesh.

Courtney Love is surely a cosmetic cat. And, at one point I felt like it truly had reached its peak with those horrible photos of her botched surgeries. But, the media has never been gracious with rock n’ roll women. Looks, diet, babies, relationships, addiction – almost every woman in the tabloids and in respectable mediums like The Huffington Post, garner more attention based on who she dates, what she looks like, etc. When that woman is loud and unapologetic, then her notoriety magnifies. That is the legacy of Courtney Love.

Of course, we remember Ms. Love for her most obvious talent, and that same unrepentant nature is what makes her music so exciting and spoke to a generation of women who shared the same wavelength. And, to me, I would think that these qualities – not looks – were why sex with Courtney Love was so amazing.
